Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use The Broke College Kid. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA on our website and in our iPhone and Android apps.

What we do

• Text sizes from small to extra large, light and dark modes, and a reduce-motion setting in Settings.
• Labels on buttons, form fields and icons for screen readers.
• Tap targets sized for thumbs and color contrast checked against WCAG AA.
• Keyboard access to menus, dialogs and forms on the website.

Known limits

Some content from other services, such as Stripe's payment and payout forms and links to outside study sites, is controlled by those services. Photos members post may not have text descriptions.

If something is hard to use, email begreat@brokecollegekid.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line. Tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within 5 business days.
